THINK Together

THINK Together, a nonprofit 501(c)( 3) organization, serves over 50,000 students at more than 200 schools and community centers throughout Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.

The Problem

While THINK Together is one of the nations largest providers of after school programs, many people have never heard of them. Beyond that, much of their funding is grant and contract based so their marketing methods have traditionally relied on statistics and test scores. Further as they have expanded into early literacy, some who know THINK Together have no idea the depth and breadth of their services beyond tutoring.

The Solution

In partnership with Chai Studios and Instant Pictures we produced a series of first person narrative videos of people simply sharing their stories of how the intersection of their lives with THINK Together changed them. Additionally, we developed a series of blog posts highlighting families experiences in the Early Literacy program, all including specific calls to action geared towards increasing engagement with the organization through social media, site visits and (of course) donations.

Through out the whole process we worked with their team to help develop the stories teaching along the way. We worked with easily accessible equipment (consumer grade camera’s, final cut express, cell phone pictures, etc) so that the results could be replicated by their team after the term was up.

Scott is high energy, business in focus but warm of heart. He truly understands the significance and art of storytelling and can be an asset to any organization looking to develop creative new funding strategies.
